We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Sustainability Sales Team as a Solutions Engineer in Oslo.

As a Sustainability Solutions Engineer at ISS-Corporate, you will be the technical backbone of the sales process and a vital link to the global Product and Advisory teams. Leveraging deep expertise in sustainability products and services, you will play a pivotal role in keeping ISS-Corporate’s offerings innovative, impactful, and competitive in a rapidly evolving market. You will contribute into building a new agile team within the structure of a global company, driving business success along the way.

Your Role And Responsibilities Will Include
• Serve as the technical expert in client meetings, leveraging deep product and sustainability knowledge as well as insights into the customer journey, to effectively address objections, provide technical and commercial clarity and drive sales.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives to strategize on key opportunities, emphasizing the value of ISS-Corporate’s offerings tailored to client needs.
• Gather and follow a data-driven approach to client feedback, ensuring offerings meet client requirements and align with emerging market needs.
• Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Product and Advisory) to suggest enhancement and improvements in products, client deliveries and sales processes.
• Stay updated on sustainability and product trends, key market trends (regulatory reporting, methodologies and best practices) and the competitive landscape.

Qualification and skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of sustainability frameworks and topics, such as carbon accounting, CSRD, GRI, single or double materiality assessments, gap analysis, climate risk assessments or other ESG frameworks/ratings.
• 3-5 years of work experience, ideally in a customer-facing role such as advisory, technical consulting, customer success, product, sales engineering or similar.
• Familiarity with enterprise software solutions, SaaS products and/or other sustainability products, services and advisory.
• Outstanding communication, commercial acumen, and presentation skills to effectively explain complex topics in a clear and compelling way and position solutions and services in a way that resonates with prospects, builds trust and drives conversions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to learning, deep-diving and researching in various topics, as well as adapting to shifting market demands, customer requirements, and sales cycles.
• Collaborative mindset, working effectively with the Sales, Product and Advisory team as well as external stakeholders.
