Job Description
The NBCUniversal Team is looking for a Scope 3 Program Manager to join our Sustainability team.
In this role, you will own NBCU's Scope 3 emissions data and participate in a rigorous data collection and carbon reporting process. You will work with a wide range of internal, corporate, and external stakeholders to manage Scope 3 data, integrate source material, complete relevant analyses, and identify potential emissions reduction opportunities. You will present Scope 3 findings to senior leadership and the Sustainability Council.
You will report to the Director of Sustainability Data Solutions and partner with the NBCU Sustainability Strategy and Production Team as they develop and manage NBCU's carbon reduction efforts. You will work closely with procurement, finance, travel, and other internal departments to collect and integrate Scope 3 source data into NBCU's carbon reporting tool. Finally, you will partner with other members of the Sustainability Data team to validate carbon emissions calculations and deliver finalized data to Comcast.
What You'll Do
• Create and drive the Scope 3 emissions data program for all of NBCUniversal inclusive of implementing a software solution that is part of the company's existing carbon reporting tool
• Develop rigorous validation and QA procedures in line with increased regulation around sustainability data
• Create data maintenance procedures and tracking mechanisms for the impact of methodology changes
• Review new technologies and find appropriate partners to better understand the changing Scope 3 landscape
• Stay abreast of the latest guidance around Scope 3 including methodology updates, best practices, new regulations, and industry standards
• Partner closely with other media companies on Scope 3 reporting standards
• Participate in the overall carbon reporting process through data collection, top-level QA and team guidance
• Support the Sustainability team on cross disciplinary projects and data requests

What You Have...
• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as: Environmental Sciences/Studies, Sustainability, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience
• 3+ years of sustainability-related work experience
• 2+ years of experience in environmental sustainability and associated technical skills, such as: carbon reporting, corporate sustainability, analytics and visualizations
• 1+ years of experience with Scope 3 data and carbon reporting for a corporate entity
• 1+ years of experience with Salesforce, Tableau, PowerBI, or other data analytics tools
• Proven prior work product of Scope 3 reporting frameworks and methodologies and frameworks in development
What Would Make You a Stand-out:
• Master's Degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Data Science, or relevant field
• A track record of strong quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills and documented ability to communicate complex datasets to leadership and internal/external stakeholders
• Experience with life cycle assessments and/or product-based carbon accounting
• Experience working in or with Finance, Controllership, Audit Accounting, Sourcing, or similar departments
• Advanced data analytics or coding experience (i.e. SQL, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with film/TV, theme parks, broadcast, data centers, or studio business segments
• CPA, CMA, or other financial accreditation(s)

• Fully Remote: This position has been designated as fully remote, meaning that the position is expected to contribute from a non-NBCUniversal worksite, most commonly an employee's residence.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
