Key Responsibilities: The Policy and Permitting Manager will have the following key responsibilities:

Implementing permitting strategies for assigned resource and development projects.

Developing and implementing legislative strategies supporting growth before federal, state, and local legislative bodies.

Negotiating with county, state, federal and other regulatory agencies to achieve acceptable permit conditions.

Building, strengthening, and maintaining relationships with regulatory agencies, partners, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Preparing necessary environmental permit applications and managing consultants to achieve all regulatory, siting and environmental requirements and approvals needed to achieve permit acquisition
• Monitoring changes in legislative and regulatory policy and advising Director to inform business strategy and planning
