Verdical Group is seeking a Sustainability Project Manager to oversee client projects focused on environmental impact. The role requires 2+ years of project management experience, strong communication skills, and expertise in green building systems. This position is remote but requires proximity to Los Angeles, Pasadena, San Francisco, or San Diego. The company emphasizes sustainability, diversity, and continuous learning.

WHO YOU ARE
- An experienced project manager looking to manage all aspects of our clients projects from start to finish, focusing on year-over-year growth. This role includes a monthly billing target goal.
- You are committed to making a positive social and environmental impact on the world. You will be evaluated three times per year on your performance and progress in these areas.
- Excited to be a leader on the Verdical Group project management team. A coach, mentor, and technical advisor to staff, responsible for managing/planning associates tasks, project profitability, and the teams professional development.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of direct project management experience, including supervising other team members.
- LEED BD+C and/or ID+C credential, with experience taking a project from kickoff to plaque.
- Expertise in green building rating systems and capability to independently run all aspects of a project, from kickoff to completion.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong data/information management skills, including ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data, organize and correlate findings, and translate that information into client deliverables.
- Bachelors degree in architecture, environmental science, engineering, or related field
- Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously to meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Excellent organization skills, with a fastidious attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple demands.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities under tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated interest in sustainability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NOT REQUIRED)
- WELL AP credential
- Experience with WELL certification projects
- Experience with Envision, Living Building Challenge, and Fitwel.
- Experience with sustainability program management, LCAs, Envision, Declare, WELL, Fitwel, ESG, net zero, etc.
- Masters Degree in a related field
- Engaged and participated in local industry organizations.
