About the position
Ampcus Inc. is seeking a highly motivated Sustainability Program Manager to join our talented team in Bellevue, WA. This role is pivotal in driving sustainability initiatives across our Existing Buildings and Expansion portfolio. The Sustainability Program Manager will work cross-functionally to develop, implement, and lead various sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with our long-term goals. The candidate will manage a range of stakeholder interests and support internal communications and change management initiatives related to sustainability efforts. The primary responsibility of the Sustainability Program Manager will be to develop and own the 2040 Net Zero Carbon (NZC) Glidepath for multiple building formats. This includes prioritizing impactful carbon reduction initiatives for Sustainable Buildings and planning and executing the implementation of these initiatives across the portfolio. The candidate will also define and test innovative solutions to unlock future carbon reduction initiatives and build out a reporting mechanism to track the impact of these initiatives. In addition to these responsibilities, the Sustainability Program Manager will lead collaborative monthly and weekly reviews to align stakeholders across the organization. Establishing cross-functional relationships will be essential to leverage resources and integrate sustainability initiatives into larger company-wide goals. The ideal candidate will be a specialist who can think big, conceptualize a lofty vision, and execute it to completion, demonstrating a passion for sustainability and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
• Develop and own the 2040 NZC Glidepath for multiple building formats

• Prioritize the most impactful carbon reduction initiatives for Sustainable Buildings
,
• Plan and execute implementation of initiatives across the portfolio
,
• Define and test new innovative solutions to unlock future carbon reduction initiatives

• Build out and support reporting mechanism to track impact
,
• Lead collaborative monthly / weekly reviews to align stakeholders across the organization

• Establish cross-functional relationships to leverage resources and integrate into larger company-wide initiatives/goals.
Requirements
• 6+ years of relevant work experience in store design, construction, operations, or sustainability
,
• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Structural or Mechanical engineering, or a relevant study
,
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
,
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
,
• Experience with design and implementation of sustainability programs related to construction materials, energy, waste management, etc.
Nice-to-haves
• Knowledge in high volume industrial operations or facilities management
,
• Experience working with procurement to drive sustainable product selection
,
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
,
• PMP, LEED or Well Accredited
