Job Description
Aviva is seeking a Sustainability Officer in Paris to develop and manage corporate sustainability strategies. The ideal candidate will have expertise in sustainability law, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders. Responsibilities include evaluating sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations, and preparing reports. Responsibilities:
Develop and implement corporate sustainability strategies and initiatives.
Monitor and evaluate the progress and effectiveness of sustainability initiatives.
Work with stakeholders from all levels of the organization to ensure sustainability goals are met.
Keep abreast of current environmental and sustainability laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with internal and external sustainability policies and regulations.
Provide guidance and advice to colleagues on sustainability initiatives.
Research and analyze trends and developments in sustainability to ensure strategies remain current.
Prepare reports on sustainability initiatives and present them to stakeholders.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure sustainability objectives are integrated into organizational operations.
Monitor the performance of sustainability operations and recommend improvements where necessary.
