Job Description
Aviva is seeking a Sustainability Officer in Mumbai, India, to develop and implement sustainability strategies, monitor initiatives, and engage stakeholders. Candidates should have a relevant degree and at least two years of experience in sustainability. Responsibilities include reporting on progress, researching best practices, and supporting training programs. Aviva is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
At Aviva, we are looking for a passionate and driven Sustainability Officer to join our team and help us further our commitment to sustainability. As a key member of the Sustainability team, you will be responsible for helping to set and execute our sustainability strategy.To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in a relevant field (e.g. Environmental Science, Business, or Sustainability) and a minimum of two years of experience in a sustainability-related role. You must have a strong understanding of sustainability practices, and the ability to monitor, analyze, and report on sustainability initiatives. You must also be an excellent communicator, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.If you are passionate about sustainability, and have the qualifications and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sustainability strategies in line with Aviva’s commitment to sustainability.
Monitor, analyze, and report on the progress of sustainability initiatives.
Establish performance metrics and systems to track progress towards sustainability goals.
Research and stay current on best practices and industry trends related to sustainability.
Develop and deliver presentations and materials related to sustainability initiatives.
Engage and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote sustainability initiatives.
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure sustainability goals are incorporated into relevant activities.
Assist in the development and delivery of sustainability training programs.
Support the implementation of sustainability policies and procedures.
Provide administrative support for sustainability-related projects.
