Sustainability Manager

Norex Flavours Private Limited is seeking a Sustainability Manager to lead its sustainability initiatives and ESG strategies. The role involves developing strategies aligned with global standards, managing traceability systems, and collaborating with stakeholders to promote environmental responsibility. Required qualifications include a degree in Environmental Science or related fields and 7–10 years of experience in sustainability. The position is based in Mandi Dhanaura, Uttar Pradesh, India.

Manager – Sustainability

JOB PURPOSE

The Manager – Sustainability will lead the development and implementation of Norex’s sustainability initiatives and ESG strategies. The role will be critical in ensuring compliance with global standards, integrating sustainable agronomy practices, managing traceability systems, and embedding environmental consciousness into core operations.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement sustainability strategies aligned with global ESG frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, CDP, Ecovadis).
• Lead programs to reduce carbon footprint and improve resource efficiency across supply chains.
• Oversee traceability systems to ensure transparency from sourcing to shipping.
• Partner with growers and agricultural stakeholders to implement sustainable agronomy and regenerative farming practices.
• Ensure compliance with international standards including the Paris Climate Agreement and prepare reports and disclosures.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders, offering sustainability training and building awareness.
• Collaborate across departments to foster a culture of environmental responsibility and drive Scope 3 emission reductions.
• Risk assessment of CO₂ emissions across company and supply chain.
• Help shape CSR and community-based initiatives in alignment with company values.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Environmental Science, Agronomy, Sustainability, or related fields
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in sustainability and ESG management
• In-depth knowledge of sustainability certifications (GRI, SASB, CDP, Ecovadis, SBTi, etc.)
• Proficient in sustainability reporting tools and data analysis (MS Excel, ESG dashboards)
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills
• Familiarity with digital tools for EHS/Sustainability is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in the food, agri, or FMCG industries
• Exposure to regenerative farming, biodiversity strategies, and sustainable supply chain practices

Compensation:
