The New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection is hiring a Sustainability Manager to lead our efforts in promoting sustainable practices throughout the organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce our environmental footprint and promote sustainability in all aspects of our operations.
You will work closely with our engineering staff to review plans and materials related to watershed and land management programs, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goal of protecting and preserving our state's natural resources.
A strong understanding of hydrologic and hydraulic principles, as well as experience with water resource management, is essential for success in this role. You will also need to possess excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
