RPS Group Limited is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join their team, ideally in London, but other UK locations are considered. The role involves providing various sustainability assessments and supporting clients through the planning process. Candidates should have a relevant degree and experience with BREEAM assessments. Sustainability Consultant
RPS is looking for a Sustainability Consultant to join ourteam based ideally in London but can consider other locations such as Manchester, Birmingham or Newcastle. Our award-winning team provides a range ofassessments (Energy Reports, Overheating Assessments, Daylight Analysis, BREEAMAssessments, Sustainability Statements, LCA etc) to a multitude of clients,supplying valuable services to lead design teams and clients through thecomplexities of the planning process.

What you'll be doing
You will be working with a well-established and passionate team of highlyknowledgeable environmental consultants giving you the opportunity to developyour skill set and progress your career. You'll be trained in providing supportand assistance across a range of projects and technical area's including:research, site visits, appraisals and report writing. Where appropriate, you'llget to take responsibility to work on individual tasks and projects.

Who we are looking for
• We'd like you to have a degree (BSc / BEng) in a relevantsubject (e.g. Environmental Science/Engineering, Climate Change, Engineering,Architecture) preferably with relevant Masters (MSc/MEng) or post graduatequalification.
• A good understanding of BREEAM assessments and the BREEAMprocess (Design and Post Construction stages) and experience of working throughseveral BREEAM assessments. Experience of how the BREEAM process works and whatthe BRE require is essential.
• BREEAM certified in at least one of the BRE schemes (NewConstruction, Refurbishment and Fit Out, International) and a BREEAM APcertification would be beneficial.
• Previous experience of experience working on BREEAMassessments.
• Experience in undertaking Whole Life Carbon Assessments usingOneClick LCA Software
Strong communication skills are essential as you'll need to beable to build strong working relationships with your colleagues, clients andexternal bodies.
