Sustainability Communications Manager

Mason Blake is seeking a Sustainability Communications Manager in London to support the Head of Sustainability in enhancing the firm's reputation as a responsible investor. Responsibilities include developing communication strategies, overseeing marketing campaigns, and collaborating with sales and marketing teams. The ideal candidate has experience in asset management communications, knowledge of responsible investment regulations, and strong communication skills. This full-time position is highly competitive.
Our client is an independent investment management firm, looking to recruit a new Sustainability Communications Manager to join their team. The role involves supporting the Head of Sustainability to help structure and enhance their reputation as a responsible investor and business.

Key responsibilities:

Support in the development and oversight of communications content and strategic marketing campaigns relating to sustainability.
Developing and implementing a market and communication strategy relating to their responsible business approach.
Working with the sales support team to effectively deliver written responses to industry surveys, RFPs, RFIs, client queries etc.
Working with the marketing team to ensure content and insight is made available when required.
Keeping up to date with emerging themes in responsible investment and the activities of peers.
Contributing to the business’s responsible investment and sustainability activities.

The successful candidate will have:

Experience in a communications/marketing position within asset management.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to responsible investment disclosures.
Understanding of responsible investment themes with the ability to develop a related content pipeline to meet evolving client and regulatory expectations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Entrepreneurial mind-set.
Ability to tailor content towards relevant markets/channels e.g., social media, digital marketing and editorial.
Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external partners.
