Job Description
McConnell Dowell is hiring a part-time Sustainability Advisor in Bendigo, VIC, Australia, to support the Level Crossing Removal Project. The role involves implementing sustainability initiatives, driving environmental performance, and contributing to compliance efforts. Candidates should have a relevant environmental qualification and at least two years of experience in civil construction. Due to ongoing operational growth, McConnell Dowell is seeking an experienced Sustainability Advisor to join our team on a part-time basis.
This role supports the Western Program Alliance (WPA) on the Level Crossing Removal Project, offering the opportunity to work across both the Tarneit and Ballarat site compounds. This is a dynamic role ideal for someone passionate about sustainability in infrastructure and eager to make a tangible impact in a growing and supportive environment.
As a key member of the project team, the successful candidate will:
• Support the implementation and monitoring of sustainability initiatives
• Help drive environmental performance and project sustainability goals
• Contribute to reporting, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Tertiary qualification in a relevant environmental field.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a civil construction environment.
• Clear and concise communication skills.
