About the Role:

The Sustainability & Public Policy Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing sustainable practices within our organization and the broader community. This position involves conducting thorough research and analysis on environmental policies, regulations, and trends to inform decision-making processes. The analyst will collaborate with various stakeholders, including government agencies, non-profits, and community groups, to advocate for sustainable initiatives. By evaluating the impact of current policies and proposing innovative solutions, the analyst will contribute to the organization's commitment to sustainability. Ultimately, this role aims to enhance our environmental stewardship and promote social responsibility in our operations and community engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Public Policy, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in sustainability analysis or public policy research.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and present findings.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Experience working with government agencies or non-profit organizations focused on sustainability.
• Familiarity with environmental regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive research on sustainability practices and public policy trends.
• Analyze data and prepare reports to assess the effectiveness of current sustainability initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to develop and implement sustainability strategies.
• Advocate for policy changes that support sustainable development at local, state, and federal levels.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of public policies on environmental sustainability and community well-being.

Skills:
