Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Circularity Engineer to drive sustainable design, manufacturing, and end-of-life strategies for GE Aerospace. In this role, you will lead initiatives that enhance material efficiency, reduce waste, and develop circular economy solutions that align with our company's sustainability strategy.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities
• Establish a long-term vision and strategy for integrating circular economy principles into GE Aerospace's operations working with internal stakeholders across multiple functions
• Set methodologies to measure key circular economy metrics and establishes baselines
• Develop and implement circular economy strategies, including material reuse, recycling and remanufacturing.
• Collaborate with design and sourcing teams to integrate sustainable materials and processes into product development
• Identify and assess innovative technologies for closed-loop manufacturing, waste reduction and resource optimization
• Prepares the company for future circularity mandates like CSRD, extended produce responsibility policies, product eco-label, etc.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Materials Sciences, Sustainability or related field
• Minimum of 1-3 years in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering or similar positions

Desired Characteristics:
• Knowledge in sustainability, circular economy or life cycle assessment principles
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and sustainability certifications related to circularity and resource efficiency.
• Established project management skills
