Position Overview: The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for assembling data, analyzing performance, identifying problems, and developing recommendations which support operations and multiple internal business lines while ensuring a high rate of project communication and completion. This position uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, improve, forecast and/or support sourcing and supply chain operations. About the Role - You will: Use data analysis, manipulation, and visualization tools to identify, prioritize, and drive Supply Chain and enterprise improvements and projects. Define, control, and lead the quarterly update of item attributes in the system. Analyze supply chain processes and systems and identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and cost reduction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement solutions to address supply chain issues and mitigate risks with data and systemic support. Monitor and report on supply chain performance metrics, cost, on-time delivery, lead time, and spend Own and support data management for bill of material costing needs. Conduct data analysis and modeling to support decision-making related to sourcing, procurement, and logistics. Collaborate with suppliers to optimize delivery schedules, lead times, and inventory levels, while maintaining high levels of quality and reliability. Support supplier development activities, such as capacity planning, supplier risk management, and supply chain sustainability. Use expert level excel and data analytics skills to serve as point person for supply chain process and system improvements. Develop and maintain supply chain documentation, including procedures, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). Other duties as assigned by management. Excellent English communication skills and interest in compiling then presenting concise and informative data sets to Proterra Leadership Your Experience Includes: Advanced Excel user (expansive lookups, pivot tables, and complex logic statements) Continuous Improvement and/or Lean Training Experience with data manipulation and analysis of large data sets (Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau Prep, or other similar tools a plus) Familiarity with data visualization tools (Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, or similar) Knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle is a plus) 3-5 years of related experience that includes supply chain or operations and data analysis.
