Key Responsibilities
• Oversee all on‑site construction activities from preconstruction through project closeout.
• Manage day‑to‑day field operations including subcontractors, scheduling, safety, and quality control.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to ensure seamless execution.
• Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe, compliant jobsite at all times.
• Lead subcontractor meetings and ensure alignment with project goals and expectations.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address challenges to avoid delays or cost overruns.
• Ensure workmanship meets company standards and project specifications.
Qualifications
• 7+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction.
• Experience with ground‑up and/or renovation projects (education, municipal, or commercial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of construction means & methods, scheduling, and sequencing.
• Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and complex project logistics.
• Familiarity with construction management or design‑build delivery methods preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
• Proficiency with construction technology (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred.
