The intern will assist with research, client support, and business development activities related to energy security and climate policymaking. Applicants must be students during the 2025 academic year and available for the full 9-week internship. This role requires in-office presence in London.

Summer Internship – Research & Business Development: Energy, Climate and Resources
Eurasia Group is the world’s leading political risk advisory and consulting firm. Our mission is to assist investors, companies, and public-sector institutions capitalize on the opportunities and manage the risks created by the impact of politics and policy on markets around the world.
We are seeking an intern to support our Energy, Climate, and Resources (ECR) research team in London. The intern will support research across the energy, climate, and natural resources (e.g. mining and agriculture) sectors. The intern will also support Eurasia Group’s business development within the ECR team.
This internship will provide opportunities to learn about researching and supporting clients in topics such as energy and energy security, raw materials, food security, climate policymaking, and traded market research.
The intern will also have opportunities to learn about other fields and regions of political risk analysis and to network with Eurasia Group analysts.
The intern will be working in Eurasia Group’s dynamic, diverse, and sociable London office.
Applicants must be students at an academic institution during the 2025 academic year. The internship is in-office (hybrid), so any candidate must be able to reside and work in the UK for the duration of the internship.
Responsibilities:
• Support Eurasia Group’s analysts with ongoing and tailored client research work
• Track global and client-specific news, circulate news clips, and prepare briefings on client priorities
• Research potential new clients and track developments with existing clients
• Take notes during video calls and in-person client meetings
• Support conference call planning and logistics
Qualifications:
• Applicants must be students at an academic institution, in a related field (e.g. international relations, politics, public policy, economics) and be enrolled in a fall program.
• Strong writing skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Intellectual curiosity, creativity, and a team-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with consulting projects is desirable, but not essential
• Full business proficiency in the English language
Timing:
• June 2 – August 1 (9 weeks) - candidates must be available for the entire time frame
• 40 hours per week
