Storeworker - VIC

Solargain is seeking a Storeworker in North Melbourne, VIC, responsible for organizing stock, picking and packing orders, and optimizing warehouse performance. Duties include receiving and dispatching goods and operating a forklift. Full-time hours are required, with shifts between 6am-4pm. Based in West Melbourne, you will be responsible for organising stock for our electrical installation teams and plumbers; optimising warehouse performance; and receiving and dispatch of goods for our national branches.

Full training will be provided as required, both on an introductory and ongoing basis to ensure a strong development of skill and career at Solargain.

Duties
• Picking and packing of orders
• Receiving and dispatching of goods
• Operating a forklift
• Ensuring jobs are ready for daily workloads
• Stock take and stock control
• General warehouse duties - optimising and organising our warehouse
• Following Workplace Health & Safety practices
• Assisting Dandenong warehouse if needed

Skills & Experience
• Able to perform full-time hours, hours between 6am-4pm (shifts will vary between those hours)
• Self-motivated and committed
• Enthusiastic about accepting challenges and taking on new responsibilities
• Strong organisation skills are essential

Requirements
• Forklift License
• Victorian manual driver’s license
• The position is open to Australian citizens &/or persons that have a legal, valid right to work in Australia.
