About the position

As a Store Environment Team Member, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the overall look and feel of the store, ensuring that it meets the high standards of cleanliness and recovery that our brand promises. Your primary responsibilities will include delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in navigating the store, and helping them find the products they need. You will be responsible for collecting and disposing of trash according to approved procedures, dusting and damp mopping floors, and moving equipment and products to facilitate proper cleaning. Additionally, you will be tasked with deep cleaning key areas of the store, such as bathrooms, breakrooms, and entryways, to create a clean and safe environment for both customers and staff. You will also need to keep cleaning equipment organized and notify your supervisor of any supply needs in advance. Taking initiative to seek out areas that require cleaning and completing assigned tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines is essential. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers, even in challenging situations, is vital to embodying the organization's vision and values. You will serve as a role model for other team members, projecting a positive image at all times. In addition to cleaning duties, you may also be required to provide a fast and friendly checkout experience, handle cash according to standards, engage customers about the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, and assist with Omni channel processes such as Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS). Participation in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes, as well as supporting shrink and safety programs, will also be part of your responsibilities. Adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements is essential.

Requirements
• Retail and/or cleaning experience preferred.
