Job Description
Form Energy is seeking a Staff Technology Program Manager for R&D to lead the integration of development workstreams with engineering and manufacturing. The role involves strategy building, risk management, and cross-functional coordination to accelerate the deployment of innovative battery technology. Candidates should have over 7 years of experience in Technical/Engineering Program Management. This position is remote and offers a chance to contribute to a transformative energy mission.

Role Description
Form Energy is hiring a Staff Technology Program Manager to take on a pivotal role in the development of first in-kind battery technology. As part of the PMO (Program Management Office), you will drive & integrate our R&D & development workstreams with our engineering and manufacturing programs. You will partner with multiple functions across R&D, development, and engineering to accelerate the deployment of Form’s cutting edge technology to market. What you'll do:
• Build & accelerate cohesive strategy and plans related to our R&D and technology readiness. Integrate to the overall product deployment program.
• Assess and mitigate program risks based on development activities across research and development.
• Manage and communicate schedules, risks, & priorities across multiple teams to ensure efficient alignment, coordination, and execution of Form’s highly cross-functional goals consistent with Form’s PDP
• Proactively identify and frame key decisions, risks, and work with stakeholders to develop decision-quality options; facilitate progress by ensuring appropriate scheduling, resourcing, and prioritization of engineering workflows
• Contribute to program management systems and structures based on best-practices and your personal experience, to effectively integrate with and support Form Energy’s world-class technical team
• Ensure all our product plans and assumptions are rationalized with the high-level system requirements
What you'll bring:
• 7+ years of experience in Technical / Engineering Program Management
• Demonstrated experience in managing programs for R&D development of a complex product combining chemical, electrical hardware, software & mechanical components.
• Ability to understand the big picture from a technical and schedule standpoint
• Strong ability to drive programs forward, remove roadblocks, and escalate any major risks or issues
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and able to communicate at an Executive level
• Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously
