We are currently seeking an experienced Sr Manager - Environmental Systems to be an integral part of the Environmental, Health and Safety team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for leading and managing processes related to environmental compliance, sustainability, and risk mitigation.This role requires an understanding of regulatory requirements, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders. The Sr Manager - Environmental Systems will be responsible for driving continuous process improvement, developing strategies to reduce environmental liabilities, and ensuring that all Tyson Foods operations are compliant with local, state and federal regulations.The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or a related field, along with a minimum of 8 years of experience in environmental compliance and management. In addition, they should have a demonstrated knowledge of environmental regulations, the ability to develop and deliver presentations to senior management, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a passion for protecting the environment. Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage all environmental compliance processes, regulations, and systems.
Lead process improvement initiatives to reduce environmental liabilities.
Ensure Tyson Foods operations are compliant with local, state and federal regulations.
Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
Develop and deliver presentations to senior management.
Create and implement strategies to reduce environmental liabilities.
Monitor and review environmental data and reports.
Investigate and respond to environmental incidents.
Monitor environmental trends and regulations.
Coordinate environmental education and training programs.
