Sr. Technician (T2)- Electrical - HW_Proto_4(on Contract)

ideaForge is hiring a Sr. Technician (T2) for Electrical HW Prototype work in Navi Mumbai. The role involves electrical assembly, soldering, circuit testing, component selection, wiring, prototype design, and documentation. Electrical Assembly: Proficiency in assembling electrical components onto PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) and other substrates using soldering techniques, ensuring proper connections and adherence to industry standards.

Soldering: Expertise in soldering surface-mount (SMD) and through-hole components onto PCBs with precision and attention to detail, following best practices to minimize the risk of defects and ensure reliability.

Circuit Testing and Troubleshooting: Ability to conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting of electrical circuits using various measurement tools and equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and logic analyzers, to identify and resolve issues effectively.

Component Selection and Sourcing: Knowledge of electrical components and materials, including the ability to select and source high-quality components required for prototype development, considering factors such as specifications, availability, cost, and lead times.

Electrical Wiring and Harnessing: Proficiency in wiring and harnessing techniques to integrate electrical components and subsystems into larger assemblies or systems, ensuring proper routing, insulation, and termination for optimal performance and reliability.

Prototype Design: Understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams, and design specifications to interpret and implement prototype designs accurately, following engineering guidelines and industry standards.

Documentation: Ability to maintain detailed documentation of electrical designs, schematics, wiring diagrams, test procedures, and results, ensuring accurate records are kept throughout the prototyping process for reference and replication.

Safety Compliance: Awareness of safety protocols and best practices when working with electrical components and equipment, prioritizing personal safety and adhering to relevant regulations and standards to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.

Quality Assurance: Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and reliability in electrical prototypes, adhering to industry best practices and quality assurance processes to ensure consistent performance and customer satisfaction.
