Lucid Motors is hiring a Sr. Project Coordinator for Plant Vehicle Engineering in Casa Grande, AZ. The Role:
• Project Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines. Ensure alignment with project goals, milestones, and deadlines, and manage adjustments as needed to accommodate changes or delays.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Facilitate communication and collaboration among various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain. Ensure that all teams are aligned with project objectives and timelines.
• Resource Management: Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources, including personnel, materials, and equipment. Ensure that resources are used efficiently and effectively to meet project requirements.
• Budget and Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenditures, and manage financial aspects of the project. Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure that the project remains within financial constraints.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues that could impact the project’s success. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address and resolve problems proactively.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including reports, status updates, and records of decisions and changes. Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders and management.
• Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure that the project complies with industry standards, regulations, and internal quality guidelines. Monitor quality control processes and work with the engineering team to address any quality issues that arise.
• These responsibilities are designed to ensure that automotive engineering projects are completed successfully, on time, and within budget, while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
Qualifications:
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree. Project Management, Business Administration, or Communications preferred.
• Atlassian Products: Experience with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for project tracking, documentation, and collaboration.
• Tableau: Proficiency in using Tableau for data visualization and creating actionable insights from complex data sets.
• Smartsheets: Experience with Smartsheets for project management, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Data Analytics: Strong skills in data analysis and interpretation to support project decisions and performance tracking.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to effectively coordinate with cross-functional teams, present reports, and interact with stakeholders.
• Time Management: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
• Self-Motivation: Demonstrated self-driven approach with the ability to work independently, take initiative, and maintain high levels of productivity.
• Goal Orientation: Strong focus on achieving project goals and objectives, with a track record of setting and meeting targets and delivering results.
