Job Description

The Senior Program Officer, Grants at Enterprise Community Partners in Atlanta, GA, will manage the Power Forward Communities' grants program aimed at decarbonizing affordable housing and enhancing climate resilience. About the position

The Senior Program Officer, Grants at Enterprise Community Partners will play a crucial role in designing and managing the Power Forward Communities' multifamily market building and predevelopment grants program. This position focuses on supporting the decarbonization of affordable housing properties and enhancing climate resilience through strategic grant funding and technical assistance. The officer will engage with various stakeholders, including owners and operators of affordable housing, to ensure compliance and successful outcomes of grant programs while promoting racial equity and social justice.

Responsibilities
• Design and manage RFPs and selection processes for capacity-building grant programs.

• Oversee and track grantee's performance to achieve successful grant outcomes.
,
• Coordinate with operations team, evaluation team, and other stakeholders to ensure grant program success.
,
• Support other relevant Power Forward Communities activities, from energy justice to benchmarking and training and technical assistance deployment.
,
• Identify and implement opportunities to advance climate risk reduction and healthy housing outcomes.
,
• Help deliver climate resilience programming including program evaluation and support for Resilience Academies.
,
• Support a training series focused on small and medium multifamily preservation, including climate resilience and decarbonization strategies.
,
• Provide support and thought leadership for other climate-resilience initiatives.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or combination of education and experience in related field.
,
• Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and social justice.
,
• Minimum of four years project management experience, preferably in relation to community development and/or climate action.
,
• Excellent project management skills.
,
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
,
• Demonstrated strong judgement and ability to identify and analyze typical work situations and develop effective solutions.
,
• Familiarity with affordable housing and/or community development.
,
• Familiarity with building decarbonization, climate resilience, energy efficiency, and/or high performance building approaches.
,
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate complex activities, prioritize conflicting demands, and meet deadlines.
,
• Demonstrated professionalism, diplomacy, composure, flexibility and ability to adapt to a variety of situations.
,
• Experience with administering competitive grant programs preferred.
