Amazon is seeking a Sr. Product Manager - Tech for its Worldwide Sustainability team in Seattle, WA. The role involves leading sustainability initiatives, collaborating with experts to develop scalable solutions for tracking and managing environmental impacts, and enhancing customer experiences. The Worldwide Sustainability (WWS) organization capitalizes on Amazons scale and speed to build a more resilient and sustainable company. We manage our social and environmental impacts globally, and drive solutions that enable our customers, businesses, and the world to become more sustainable.
The Sustainability Measurement & Abatement Technology team builds technical solutions to track, record, and forecast Amazon's WW impact on the Environment (i.e., Carbon, Water, Waste, etc.). This includes calculating past and current impacts and future abatement plans, ensuring credibility through standards and validations, and highlighting non-obvious opportunities for Amazons global business teams.
We are looking for for a product leader to help raise the customer experience bar, help WWS tools and models gain adoption across Amazon, and build solutions to manage sustainability planning, measurement and reporting at scale.
Key job responsibilities
- Comfortably sort through urgency and opportunity to continuously deliver for customers while maintaining progress towards long term targets
- Collaborate with groups of experts and cross-functional colleagues in an agile environment
- Discover, define, and apply scientific, engineering, and business best practices to customer problems
- Work on a variety of challenging problems that have to potential to significantly impact sustainability objectives
- Work with cross-functional leaders (e.g. sustainability experts, scientists, economists, engineers, etc.) to translate business and functional requirements into concrete deliverables, including the design, development, testing, and deployment of highly scalable, distributed services

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in developing AI-powered products and applications

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
