Job Description
PSEG is hiring a Sr. Financial Analyst for Oracle Planning in Newark, NJ, under a Flexible Work Model that allows remote work. The role involves implementing and managing the Oracle long-range planning financial model, leading design and development solutions, and supporting the financial planning process. Onsite are roles that have specific onsite requirements and are typically onsite daily.
Hybrid fixed are roles that are a blend of onsite work/in-person interactions with some ability to work remotely and require employees to live within a commutable distance and be onsite fixed days each week.
Hybrid flexible are roles that can be performed remotely but require some level of onsite work/in-person interactions on a regular basis, require employees to live within a commutable distance and, since business needs vary by position and may change over time, managers will set expectations and flexibility regarding where and when work is performed.
Fully remote are roles that can be performed remotely, require employees to live in approved states and will have purpose-driven in-person interactions on occasion.

Job Summary
Initially: Assist in the build and go live implementation of the Oracle long range planning financial model to replace Cognos and lead the collaboration with Huron on the remainder of the implementation
Permanently: Lead all future design and development solutions in EPBCS for long range planning financial model. Lead all administrative responsbilities related to Oracle supporting all aspects of the model in LRP, SM and SMRPT. Work closely with users for system maintence to manage changes, manage permissions and autorizations, develop and run reports, internal lead for troubleshooting and working with Huron/Oracle support. Support the Enterprise financial ten year planning process - both the normal modeling process as well as for scenarios and sensitivities - by managing the financial model which includes: Collecting and inputting data, running consolidation, reviewing financial reporting results for earnings and cashflow, and working to ensure results are accurate and on-time.
Job Responsibilities
• Primary administrator of the Oracle system (LRP, SM, SMRPT)
• Design and development of enhancements, user support & manage changes/updates to the system
• Internal lead for troubleshooting and coordinating with Huron/Oracle for support, upgrades, etc.
Job Specific Qualifications
• 8 years' experience with Bachelors or Masters degree preferred in a field related to this position
• In lieu of degree 10 years equivalent work experience: Finance, Business, IT, or quantitative field
• Other Basic Qualifications:
• Extensive knowledge of Excel and Oracle SmartView
• Strong analytical skills coupled with a functional or technical acumen and hands-on expertise with cloud-based enterprise solutions
Desired
• Strong Financial function background (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow)
• Utilities industry background preferred
• Experience with Oracle EPBCS/Hyperion Planning, and/or Strategic Modeling.
• Experience owning project workstreams and application development with little to no supervision
• Experience with Hyperion Planning and Hyperion Essbase in both development and administrative roles
