Sr. Environmental Engineer

A world leading industrial manufacturing company is looking for a Sr. Environmental Engineer to join their team in the Newnan GA area.

The Sr. Environmental Engineer will be responsible for developing, implementing and managing Environmental Programs and leading ISO 14001 audits.

Additionally, the Environmental Engineer will serve as the interface, reporting and permitting contact for government agencies as well as complete required environmental reports.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
• Develop, implement and manage Environmental Programs and Environmental Management System.
• Create and conduct environmental program training for employees.
• Serve as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.
• Create and maintain emergency response plans and lead emergency response teams.
• Maintain Stormwater permit. Review new or modified processes for environmental impact, regulatory and permitting requirements.
• Track required environmental information, communicate results and analyze data for improvement activities.

The ideal candidate will have:
• 4 Year degree in Environmental or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in industrial environmental reporting and engineering.
• Strong Excel graphing skills required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• ISO 14001 training / experience
