Sr. Analyst, Finance

Peregrine Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking a Sr. Analyst, Finance to assist in financing renewable energy projects. This full-time position, which can be fully remote, requires strong financial modeling skills and experience in investment banking or project finance. The analyst will collaborate with teams on project valuation and manage financial models, while contributing to the company's transition from a startup to a larger organization.
The Sr. Analyst, Finance assists in valuation and financing of renewable energy and energy storage projects. The successful candidate will be an individual contributor with a passion for de-carbonization. The individual will need to navigate the transition from a startup development company to a larger IPP organization, while working with internal and external stakeholders.

This position will report to the Director of Finance. The team is highly cohesive and collaborative, but each member maintains an ownership mentality of projects and processes.

This is a full-time position and can be fully-remote with a preference for Colorado-based candidates.

Essential Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible for the following items. Responsibilities may arise beyond this, as necessary for a growing company.
• Work on complex financings of renewable energy projects including wind, solar and energy storage.
• Manage and update financial models for financial closings.
• Collaborate with members of other teams to support valuation of M&A and greenfield projects.
• Support development of project pipeline and deployment of capital.
• Support development of new modeling templates to value renewable energy projects.
• Perform industry research and present to team.
• Maintain good working relationships with various financing counterparties.

Required Skills/Experience

Desired candidate will have the following skills or experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in investment banking, project finance, and/or private equity.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel modeling skills.
• Strong understanding of capital structure, tax, accounting, and investments concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.

Salary: Salary range is $100,000 - $140,000

Bonus: This position may be eligible to receive an annual cash incentive bonus capped at a % of your base salary and based on your performance review.
