Specialist on Material Recycling & Hazardous Substance Control

Maruti Suzuki India Ltd is seeking a Specialist in Material Recycling & Hazardous Substance Control in Gurugram, Haryana. The role involves developing recyclers, managing substances of concern per regulatory standards, analyzing hazardous materials, and performing audits. Candidates should have knowledge of recycling processes, raw materials in automobiles, and strong MS Office skills. Good communication and problem-solving abilities are essential. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirement.
Development of recyclers and technical support for improving process efficiency.
• Manage and control of Substances of Concern (SOC) inline with regulatory requirements - EU REACH , AIS-129 ,POPS ,RoHS etc
• Analysis of Hazardous material through International Material Data System (IMDS)
• To Perform RRR &SOC Calculations for vehicle as per standards
• To perform SOC Management system audit for suppliers

Well versed with regulations and recycling processes of End-of-life vehicle, Li-ion battery, Plastic packaging ,used oils & E-waste etc.
• Basic knowledge of Raw Materials specific to automobiles
• Strong MS Office operations (esp. MS Excel. PowerPoint)
• Basic technical knowhow on material standards (ISO, JIS, DIN, IS) related to lab testing
• Good communication skills & Ability to handle challenging situations
• Openness & positive attitude.
