Community Growth Specialist at Dar

We are looking for an experienced Urban Planner to join our team at Dar. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing innovative and sustainable urban projects that foster community growth and improve the quality of life for local residents.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop comprehensive urban plans that prioritize community engagement and participation.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for improving urban environments and promoting economic growth.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that urban development projects meet the needs of local residents and businesses.
• Design and optimize transportation and infrastructure layouts to promote efficient and safe movement.
• Utilize GIS and planning tools to prepare detailed maps and reports.

Qualifications:
• Masters degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience in urban planning, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Valid professional licenses, such as DM Unlimited License or equivalent in urban planning/engineering.
• Certifications in sustainability or urban development, such as LEED or PMP, are preferred.
• Proficiency in GIS, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other urban planning software.
• Excellent communication, project management, and analytical skills.
