Job Description
Sage Sustainable Electronics is hiring a Sourcing Procurement Manager in Columbus, OH. The role involves overseeing procurement processes, managing supplier relationships, and aligning sourcing strategies with company goals. Candidates should have a background in sourcing, contract negotiation, and quality management. Responsibilities include reducing costs, managing supplier performance, and collaborating with various departments. A bachelor’s degree and relevant experience are required.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sourcing Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing the procurement process, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring that our supply chain operates efficiently. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in sourcing, contract negotiation, and quality management. The Sourcing Manager will collaborate closely with various departments to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals.

Duties
• Reducing the cost of all sourced products/services (except Logistics) and establishing the competitive terms, including pricing, payment, stocking, returns, order turnaround, etc. Target YOY reductions will be established annually.
• Directing all supply chain partners with the highest integrity and transparency. Contracts will be developed in conjunction with the VP of Legal Affairs, approved by VP of Product Planning and Merchandising, and signed by the President.
• Managing supplier performance on a quarterly basis for service levels, pricing compliance, product quality, and other critical aspects as defined.
• Managing supplier applications, due diligence assessments, and competitive pricing exercises.
• Collaborating with leaders in all departments as a liaison to external partners and provide research, sourcing options, and market intelligence to align Sourcing priorities with the needs of the business.
• Seeking out diverse suppliers to achieve 10% or higher diverse supplier spend.
• Seeking out suppliers who align with our sustainability objectives. For instance, B Corps Certified companies.
• Overseeing and developing manufacturer relationships of strategic importance such as Microsoft, HP, Apple, Dell, Cisco etc. This includes maintaining these supplier authorizations and maximizing sourcing advantages and developing a thorough understanding of their programs and presenting recommendations based on this understanding. This includes licensing, parts, and repair authorizations.
• Establishing supplier review process, maintaining reports regarding progress, challenges, and changes to our partners and vendors.
• Maintain detailed calendars, alerts and schedules of timelines and requirements.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sourcing, procurement management, or supplier management within a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successful contract negotiations.
• Proficiency in MRP systems and supply chain software.
• Excellent analytical skills for conducting root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.
• Knowledge of quality management principles as they relate to sourcing and procurement processes.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
