Solutions Engineer - Civil

Fluence is seeking a Solutions Engineer - Civil in Manila, Philippines. The role involves developing cost-effective designs, analyzing issues, performing civil design calculations, and ensuring compliance with standards. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in civil engineering, experience with BESS installation, proficiency in AutoCAD, and at least 5 years of relevant engineering experience. This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities
• Develop cost-effective design layouts based on construction specifications and requirements.
• Adhere to established design guidelines and procedures.
• Analyze design issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform civil design analysis and calculations according to project requirements.
• Perform field surveys and investigations to prepare engineering drawings.
• Review project plan and determine the design feasibilities and constraints.
• Stay abreast with latest developments with civil design fields.
• Ensure compliance with Codes & Standards quality requirements.
• Provide assistance to construction teams, collaborate with contractors and project engineers/managers.Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
• Detailed component level understanding of BESS installation.
• Well versed in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Power Point
• Proficiency in computer-aided design programs or AutoCAD.
• Know-how in using structural simulation/calculation software is a must.
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods and regulations
• At least 5 years of project or engineering experience related to energy storage system or power generating system.
