The State of Arizona is hiring a Solid Waste Case Manager in Phoenix, AZ, to oversee solid waste management cases and ensure compliance with regulations. Oversee and manage solid waste management cases in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Ensure compliance with all laws, regulations, and policies related to solid waste management.
Conduct site inspections and investigations to assess and address potential environmental and public health hazards.
Develop and implement solid waste management plans and programs to promote responsible waste management practices.
Collaborate with other government agencies, stakeholders, and community groups to identify and address solid waste management issues.
Provide technical assistance and guidance to businesses, organizations, and individuals on solid waste management practices.
Monitor and track progress of solid waste management cases and provide timely updates to management.
Prepare reports and presentations on solid waste management activities and outcomes.
Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in the field of environmental sustainability and waste management.
Mentor and train junior staff on solid waste management processes and procedures.
Represent the State of Arizona at meetings, conferences, and public events related to solid waste management.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve and streamline solid waste management processes and procedures.
Demonstrated commitment to promoting and protecting the environment for future generations.
Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with stakeholders and the public.
