Job Overview:

Spectrum Solar Company is seeking a skilled Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot solar energy systems and related electronic components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar PV installation, electrical systems, and troubleshooting electronic devices used in solar energy applications.

Key Responsibilities: Installation & Maintenance:
• Install, inspect, and maintain solar panels, inverters, batteries, and electrical wiring in residential and commercial settings.
• Ensure proper mounting, wiring, and connections for optimal system performance.
• Configure and program solar inverters, charge controllers, and monitoring systems.

Troubleshooting & Repairs:
• Diagnose and repair issues with solar panels, inverters, charge controllers, and battery systems.
• Perform voltage, current, and resistance tests using multimeters and other tools.
• Identify and fix electrical and electronic malfunctions in solar energy systems.

Safety & Compliance:
• Ensure proper grounding, surge protection, and wiring safety.
• Conduct site assessments to determine the best system configurations.

Technical Support & Reporting:
• Provide technical guidance to customers and team members.
• Maintain detailed reports and documentation on installations and repairs.
• Stay updated on the latest solar and electronics technologies.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in solar PV installation and electronics troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of solar energy components, wiring, and system configurations.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and electrical codes.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
