We are seeking a skilled Solar Service Technician to join our team at Keen Connect. In this role, you will be instrumental in the service maintenance of solar energy systems, contributing to our mission of creating sustainable and energy-efficient homes.

Responsibilities:
• Install and maintain solar panel systems on residential fields.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to ensure proper installation and functionality of solar equipment.
• Conduct electrical testing using voltmeters and other diagnostic tools to ensure system performance.
• Adhere to National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations during installations.
• Collaborate with construction teams on-site to integrate solar solutions into building designs.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on installed systems to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Solar Technician or similar role in the renewable energy sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including high voltage applications.
• Familiarity with construction sites and safety protocols related to roofing work.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other machinery safely is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, bend, stoop, crawl, and kneel without assistance.
• Comfortable working from ladders and at heights.
• Ability to commute to sites in Massachusetts.
• PV solar installation experience is preferred but not required.
• Electrical license is ideal.
Compensation:
• Competitive pay rate above average for 1099 positions.
