Orizon Energy is hiring a Solar Sales Representative in Kelowna, BC. The role involves door-to-door sales, educating homeowners about solar energy benefits, and managing sales in a designated area. What You’ll Do?

As a Solar Sales Specialist, you will engage with homeowners by knocking on their doors, educating them on the benefits of solar power, and guiding them through the sales process. This position offers uncapped commissions, comprehensive training, and significant opportunities for career growth and progression.

Please note the main duties of this role involve door-to-door sales in residential homes and communities.

1st Year Top Sales Rep: $40,000-80,000+/year

2nd Year Top Sales Rep: $80,000 - 150,000+/year

3rd Year Top Sales Rep: $150,000 - 200,000+/year

Responsibilities
• Identify and engage potential customers through various channels, mainly through door-to-door canvassing, networking and referrals
• Strategically manage and grow sales within a designated geographic area
• Enhance your solar knowledge and earning potential through team building and mentorship
• Educate homeowners about the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact and energy independence
• Conduct in-depth consultations with potential customers to explain solar systems, financing options and installation processes
• Maintain regular follow-up with potential customers to answer questions, provide additional information and facilitate the decision-making process
• Monitor and track sales activities and performance metrics to meet or exceed sales targets
• Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage referrals

Qualifications & Additional Details
• Must be 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• A knack for connecting with people, honed through direct sales, retail, or door-to-door experience (preferred, but not required)
• An insatiable appetite for growth and learning
• Comfortable working outdoors and getting your steps in for extended periods of time through various weather conditions
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends to accommodate our client’s and homeowner’s schedule
• A hunger for unlimited earning potential in a commission-only role
• This position is a 100% commission-based, independent contractor (T4A) role.
