Solar Resource and Performance Analysis

Job Description Solar Resource and Performance analysis Role

Proposal Stage Yield Assessment
• Solar Resource Assessment covering comparison with nearby plants, aerosol/pollution study & climate study
• Energy yield assessment for solar projects and solar part in hybrid projects
• TL line loss assessment, Tilt-Pitch analysis, Tracker Vs Fixed Tilt analysis
• Maintaining the Solar resource database of the company and conversant with SGIS data
• Should be fully conversant with latest version of PVsyst.

As-Built Solar Yield Assessment based
• Actual plant configuration,
• Number of land parcels,
• Actual Transmission Line Losses
• Exact location irradiation and weather data

Support in O&M generation budget preparation

Preparation of Detailed Project Reports for solar and hybrid projects for funding

Site Audits:

a) Evaluate sites independently for generation improvement
