Job Summary:
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing solar installation projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while maintaining compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements. The Project Manager will work closely with clients, internal teams, and external contractors to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. Reviewing jobs 1-2 weeks ahead of schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management:
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and installation, to ensure all project requirements are met.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Stakeholder Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing concerns promptly.
• Liaise with local authorities, utility companies, and permitting agencies to ensure compliance and approvals are secured on time.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams and external contractors to ensure alignment and effective collaboration.
Risk Management:
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Conduct regular project reviews and troubleshoot issues to prevent delays or budget overruns.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and company protocols at all stages of the project.
Resource Management:
• Coordinate and oversee the work of contractors, vendors, and on-site teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Manage project resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize utilization and minimize waste.
• Approve procurement requests and monitor inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of materials to job sites.
Quality Control and Reporting:
• Conduct site visits and inspections to verify work quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Prepare and deliver detailed project reports, including key performance metrics, for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and inspection reports, is accurate and up to date.
Working Conditions:
• Combination of office and fieldwork, with regular visits to project sites.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform site inspections as required.
• Availability to respond to urgent project issues outside standard business hours.
Salary Range:
Salary listed is based solely on experience. There is a bonus on top of this range
