Title: Solar Project Manager Location: Mississauga, Ontario Type: Full-Time
CMI Solar is a leading provider of solar energy solutions, and we are looking for a highly skilled Solar Project Manager to join our team. As a Solar Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and successful completion of solar projects.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Develop project plans and schedules, and oversee project execution in accordance with project objectives, budget, and timelines.
• Lead and manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and communication throughout all project phases.
• Define project scope, timelines, and requirements with clients and stakeholders, and identify and manage project risks.
• Monitor project budgets and expenses, ensuring adherence to financial goals.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate project status and updates to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met throughout project execution.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is an asset
• Minimum 5 years of experience managing solar projects, with a proven track record of successful project completion.
• Strong knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems and relevant construction and engineering practices.
• Demonstrated experience managing project budgets and schedules.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• PMP or CAPM certification is preferred.
