Job Description

Soltage, LLC is seeking a Solar Performance Analyst in Jersey City, NJ. The role involves monitoring solar asset performance, conducting analyses, and reporting on operations. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and strong analytical skills. Responsibilities include daily performance reviews, tracking O&M issues, and updating management systems. This is a full-time position within a fast-paced solar energy company.
Position Description: Solar Performance AnalystOverviewSoltage is a leader in the development, financing, and operation of distributed scale solar and storage assets for commercial, industrial, municipal, and utility customers across the United States. Soltage has developed more than 125 solar energy projects to-date, with more than 500 MW total distributed generating capacity in operation or under construction and invested over $1.5 Billion to date into the US clean energy sector. Soltage is backed by Igneo Infrastructure Partners, a global infrastructure investment manager, and is headquartered in Jersey City, New Jersey.Position ExpectationsJoin a fast-growing solar distributed generation company as a key member of the Operations team. The Solar Performance Analyst will report to the Director of Operations and will monitor and report on the performance of all assets.Specific Job Functions
Review prior day performance on a daily basis for all assets. Investigate issues and initiate actions to improve performance.
Update and publish the Rolling Summary Report on a daily basis.
Track all open O&M issues and report status to the Portfolio and Asset Management Teams.
Perform cost benefit analysis calculation and dispatch O&M as necessary in coordination with the Director of Operations
Report electricity and REC production on a monthly basis.
Quantify production losses and complete waterfall loss analysis for all assets.
Review and track O&M deliverables. Monitor progress, investigate issues and initiate actions to ensure project compliance.
Update the Soltage Asset Management tracking system for O&M deliverables.
Spare parts tracking for all assets.
Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Experience And Education Requirements
Bachelors Degree in electrical engineering, materials science, applied mathematics, or similar field.
Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software platforms.
Ability to deliver products on time and meet deadlines.
Proven analytical capabilities – both qualitative and quantitative.
Comfort working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
High degree of attention to detail.
