The Solar Experts is hiring a full-time Solar Panel Installer in Sir Lowry's Pass, South Africa. Responsibilities include installing photovoltaic systems, cleaning solar panels, and assisting on-site. Candidates should have a Grade 12 qualification, experience in solar installation or construction, and be comfortable working at heights. A valid driver's license is required. Job Description:

As a Solar Panel Installer, you will be responsible for installing photovoltaic
(PV) systems on residential and commercial properties, as well as for cleaning
solar panels and roofs.

You’ll work closely with project managers and electricians to ensure systems
are safely and efficiently installed according to design specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Install
solar panels on rooftops and other structures according to site plans.
• Mount
and secure PV systems using racking systems and structural supports.
• Ensure
compliance with local electrical and building codes.
• In
addition to panel installation the position will also include panel and
roof cleaning. As well as general assistance onsite if required.
• Maintain
accurate records of installation activities.
• Work
safely at heights and follow all safety protocols.
• Assist
in system testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance as needed.

Requirements:
• Grade
12 qualification or equivalent.
• Previous
experience in solar installation, roofing, or construction preferred.
• Comfortable
working at heights and in various weather conditions.
• Basic
understanding of electrical systems and hand/power tools.
• Strong
attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid
driver’s license.
• Ability
to get to and from Strand area.
• Non EE/AA

Preferred Qualifications:
• Training
at heights.
