Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and electrical work, with experience in low voltage systems and a passion for renewable energy. As a Solar Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar panels and related equipment on residential and commercial properties, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities
• Install solar panels and associated equipment on rooftops and ground-mounted systems.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient installation processes.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar systems.
• Utilize power tools, hand tools, and forklifts safely and effectively during installations.
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure all installations meet regulatory standards.
• Perform low voltage wiring and connections as needed for system integration.
• Maintain a clean and organized construction site throughout the installation process.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation or operation of solar systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding project timelines and expectations.

Requirements
• Experience in construction or electrical work is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with high voltage systems is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and on different types of construction sites.
• Proficient in using power tools, hand tools, and forklifts safely.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Knowledge of NEC regulations related to solar installations is highly desirable.
• Valid driver's license may be required for travel to job sites.
