Solar Labor Helper

Bechtel Construction Services is hiring a Solar Labor Helper in Evansville, IN. The role involves preparing, handling, and supplying materials for various tasks, including solar PV panel installation and general labor duties. Responsibilities include loading/unloading equipment, adhering to safety procedures, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. This is a full-time position with no specific degree requirements.
Responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts. Can be assigned to Photovoltaic (PV) Crews, PV support crews, PV Installer, QAQC or any other general duties assigned. Examples of key duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature.

The following duties are listed both as trade specific and shared responsibilities.

1. Load and unload equipment and materials
2. Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts

Solar PV panel installation on a single-axis tracker assembly
4. Single-axis tracker assembly
5. Pile layout and installation
6.

Underground conduit and cable installation
7. Installation of pre-connectorized DC cabling systems in above-ground cable management system
8. General cleanup and clearing of debris, and all other duties as assigned
9.

Adheres to all safety procedures
10. Communicate with others to perform the job tasks
11. Works outdoors in all weather conditions
