Solar Installer

Worcester County Electrical is hiring a Solar Installer for in-person work in Worcester, MA. Duties include installing solar panels, conducting site assessments, wiring, and troubleshooting systems. Candidates should have experience or knowledge of electrical systems and be physically fit. Duties
- Install solar panels on residential and commercial rooftops according to blueprints and specifications.
- Conduct site assessments to determine optimal panel placement and ensure structural integrity of the roof.
- Install electrical wiring and equipment necessary for solar panel systems.
- Connect solar panels to electrical systems, inverters, and batteries.
- Test and troubleshoot solar panel systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Provide maintenance and repair services for existing solar panel installations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working at heights and with electrical equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Solar Installer or in a related field is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, including both high voltage and low voltage wiring.
- Familiarity with power tools and equipment used in solar panel installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
