## Overview

We are seeking a skilled Solar Installer to join our team -- will consider project-based contracting as well as full-time employment. The ideal candidate will have experience in residential and commercial electrical, roofing, and a strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). ## Duties

- Install solar panels on roofs or grounds of residential or commercial buildings

- Assemble and install solar photovoltaic (PV) modules, panels, or support structures

- Perform electrical wiring connections for solar electric systems

- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints

- Use hand tools and power tools to complete installation tasks

- Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations

- Collaborate with the construction team on-site to coordinate solar panel installation

## Qualifications

- Experience in solar, electrical, construction or a related field is preferred

- Ability to work at heights on rooftops in various weather conditions

- Familiarity with construction sites and safety protocols

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Must have own, reliable transportation
