Solar Installer

Fusion Solar Energy is hiring a Solar Installer in Edison, NJ. Responsibilities include module installation, inventory management, quality control, and maintaining tools. Candidates should have experience with solar panel installation, the ability to lift up to 75lbs, and work outdoors. The job is full-time, pays $17.00 - $25.00 per hour, and includes health insurance. A high school diploma and prior construction experience are preferred.
Responsibilities
• Module Installation
• Receiving, stocking, and maintaining an accurate inventory of all materials
• Quality control for the scope of work
• General cleanup of materials and debris
• Maintain tools used for installation in proper working condition
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures Requirements
• Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials and supplies used on utility-scale construction projects
• The position requires the unrestricted use of hands, arms, shoulders, upper/lower back, visual acuity, depth, and color perception
• Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
• Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency • Minimum age 18
• Provide personal transportation to and from the jobsite
• Proof of Identity and Employment Authorization

Requirements

Previous Experience installing solar panels is strongly Preferred

Must be able to lift up to 75lbs.
Must be able to work as a team
Able to understand and follow directions.
Able to work outdoors during in climate weathers conditions.
Able to stand for long amount of hours
