Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Solar Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation of solar panel systems on residential and commercial properties. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, construction practices, and safety protocols. As a Solar Installer, you will play a crucial part in promoting renewable energy solutions and contributing to a sustainable future.
Duties
• Install solar panels on rooftops and ground-mounted systems according to project specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installations.
• Perform electrical work including wiring, fixture installation, and connecting solar panels to the electrical grid.
• Conduct site assessments to determine optimal placement of solar systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process, including high voltage and low voltage concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety protocols and regulations related to construction sites.
• Assist with Site Surveys and Inspections in between installation.
Experience
• Previous experience in solar installation or related fields such as electrical work or construction is preferred.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics is essential for successful installations.
• Familiarity with NEC guidelines and safety practices in high voltage environments is highly desirable.
• Experience with plumbing or fixture installation can be beneficial for certain projects.
• A strong ability to work as part of a team in various weather conditions on construction sites is required.

Pay: $150.00 - $800.00 per day

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
