Solar Installation Crew Leader

Renewable Energy Systems of Alaska is hiring a Solar Installation Crew Leader in Anchorage, AK. This full-time role involves managing a crew for the installation of solar and renewable energy systems, requiring construction and crew management experience. Compensation: $28-$35 per hour DOE

Schedule: Four 10-hour days a week + opportunities for overtime.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Managing crew on the installation of PV solar panels, generators, battery backups and other renewable energy systems.

· Installations to include layout plan, field logistics, delegating responsibilities, quality control, materials management and reporting.

· Loading, unloading, and working with materials in a variety of environments including rooftops, fields, mountains, and more!

· Inventory allocation and management.

· Install solar, wind, and battery power management systems with the best products in the industry.

· Supervise and implement safety programs.

· Train and develop crew members.

· Monitor equipment and vehicle compliance/inspections.

· Uphold company safety practices at all times and promote positive safety culture.

· Lead by example, working alongside crew members.

Requirements:

· 2+ years in construction, roofing and/or electrical experience

· 2+ years of crew management experience

· 1+ year of solar experience preferred

· Effective Communication, Problem-Solving and Time-Management Skills

· Ability to pass a background check

· Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR

· Ability to pass DOT physical for driving company vehicles
