We are seeking motivated and dynamic individuals to join our team as Residential Solar Installation Crew Leads. As a Crew Lead, you will play a crucial role in planning and coordinating the installation of solar panels and related equipment, ensuring that all work is performed according to design plans and specifications. You will be responsible for mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, connecting wiring and electrical components, and performing tests and inspections to ensure the proper functioning and safety of solar systems. Additionally, you will diagnose and troubleshoot issues with solar installations and make necessary repairs, assist with site surveys to determine the feasibility of solar systems, and train team members on installation processes and procedures. Safety is paramount, and you will ensure that your team adheres to all safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
Responsibilities
• Planning and coordinating team installing solar panels and related equipment, following design plans and specifications.

• Mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.

• Connecting wiring and electrical components to integrate solar systems into existing electrical systems.

• Performing tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of solar systems.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar installations and making necessary repairs.

• Assisting with site surveys and evaluations to determine the feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems.

• Training team members on installation processes and procedures.

• Ensuring team adheres to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 3+ years experience in solar installation or a related field is required.

• Prior solar installation crew leadership is preferred.

• Working knowledge of electrical systems and principles.

• Experience / proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation.

• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
