Solar Foreman and Crew

SolarTech Energy is hiring a Solar Foreman and Crew in Inglewood, CA. Responsibilities include assessing installation sites, installing solar systems, making electrical connections, performing maintenance, ensuring safety compliance, and client communication. Key Responsibilities:
• Assess Installation Sites: Evaluate locations to determine the most efficient setup for solar panels, considering factors like roof slope and energy needs.
• Install Solar Systems: Assemble, install, and configure solar modules, panels, and supporting structures according to building codes and safety standards.
• Electrical Connections: Connect solar panels to existing electrical systems, ensuring proper wiring and grounding.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine maintenance checks, troubleshoot issues, and repair solar systems as needed.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
• Client Communication: Interact with clients to explain installation processes, address concerns, and provide support.
• Operational Testing: Conduct tests to ensure solar systems are functioning optimally

Qualifications and Skills
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, wiring, and solar panel components.
• Physical Abilities: Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work at heights.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail for accurate installation and maintenance.
• Communication Skills: Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Pay Rate

Foreman-$29-$38/hour
Roof Lead-$26-29/hour
Roof Helper 3- $22-$25/hour
Green Helper $19-$21/hour

Certifications
• Osha-10 or higher preferred
• Tesla, Enphase and other battery system certifications preferred
